GETACED

Services

Web, Web app, Logo design, Brand design, API, Software

GETACED is a full end-to-end SaaS for assignment and test prep—from logo and brand system through the marketing site, authenticated product, and Creem-powered billing. Below we walk it in ship order: the landing experience first, then the in-app dashboard, then how we wired Creem (products, branding, redirects, webhooks, and APIs) with tight security and infrastructure you can operate in production.

Legal & expectations

Mobile Optimization

We treat the phone site as the same product as the desktop one — not a stripped-down leftover. The mascot, type, and purple field hold at this width: sections stack, the nav becomes a menu, and every page from the hero through how it works, reviews, legal, and sign-in is designed for a thumb rather than squeezed in after. Someone opening GETACED on a phone gets the same brand and the same path as someone on a laptop.

Product dashboard

Inside the app we carried the same brand flow into dense student workflows: home, customization, onboarding, billing, and history. UI and UX stay quiet so deadlines and status read first—states, empty screens, and paywalls are designed, not improvised.

GETACED dashboard home — assignments and priorities at a glance

Home & overview

The dashboard uses the same type and spacing as the marketing site, so it doesn't feel like a different product once someone logs in.

GETACED customization — tailoring the experience to how each student works

Preferences & control

Common settings are at the top, and more specific options are available further down, so the page stays simple for most people but still flexible.

GETACED onboarding modal — guided setup without blocking the product

First-run onboarding

Setup progress is saved, so the prompt doesn't show again once someone has already completed it.

GETACED in-app payment surface aligned with Creem checkout

Paywall & checkout handoff

The paywall clearly states what unlocks, then hands off to Creem's checkout. Loading, success, and failure states are all designed, so it's always clear whether a payment went through.

GETACED history — past activity and receipts for peace of mind

Activity & receipts

Each row shows the file name, result, date, and status, so it's easy to check what happened with a specific file or payment.

GETACED banner — wordmark and graduation mascot

Ad creative

This is a banner built around a strong, bold mark — the GETACED wordmark with the graduation mascot — designed for brand recognition across Instagram, Twitter, and the rest of the social stack. The same voice and colors as the landing page keep it loud enough to stop a scroll while still reading as GETACED wherever the campaign runs.

Strategy

We set up the logo, brand direction, and consistent design across every page — hero, pricing, reviews, FAQ, and legal. Domain and DNS were configured cleanly, with Cloudflare handling caching and security so the site stays fast even under traffic spikes.

Design

The interface balances a friendly tone with speed — large type where it matters, and dashboard layouts that stay readable on a phone. Onboarding, customization, and the paywall all use the same spacing and type, so they feel like one product.

Results

The final product runs on Next.js and React, with authenticated APIs and a real database on the backend. Creem handles subscriptions and one-time payments, with all entitlements verified server-side. Keys are kept separate by environment, redirects are explicit, and Cloudflare and standard security headers protect both checkout and account data.
